Holiday Stress Relief

It’s the time of year when Stress crops up and people reach for natural sleep aids.  Puritan’s Pride sent me a great selection to try out.  All comments are my own and I received no compensation other than the product.    The following statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.  *These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.  But these products can help make an illness such a cold or flu less miserable and can help Stress breeze through your life.   With colds kids bring home from school, Stress from work or home and the impending holiday activities, isn’t it nice to know that there are some natural products that can help you through the next few months with ease!   Puritan’s Pride is offering  ONE LUCKY READER this Holiday Stress Survival Kit by entering the Rafflecopter below!

This is a little bit about the Holiday Stress Survival Kit I received.

Cozy Chamomile herb tea:    I don’t know about you but I use Chamomile tea in the evenings when I need to unwind or de-Stress.   It helps me relax and fall to sleep easier.   Plus I just love the flavor of the tea, and something about holding a warm mug in my hands, sipping a hot drink melts the problems of the day for me.

Lavender essential oil:  rubbed into your skin or just inhaled from my hands helps me feel tranquil and serene.   I use Lavender Essential Oil often to help keep the Stress level down and air smelling fresh.

Valerian Root:  is an old-time favorite herb to use to help induce natural sleep.  My mom use to use Valerian Root with good success.

Melatonin with St. John’s Wort:   is an effective blend. Melatonin of course is a hormone naturally produced in the body that is involved with the natural sleep cycle and is excellent for those who experience jet lag or occasional sleeplessness.   St. John’s Wort is commonly thought of as an antidepressant because it promotes mental well-being.  With this combination provided, St. John’s Wort also helps induce sleep.

Vitamin B12:  is essential to support body metabolism and normal development of blood cells.   Vitamin B12 also contributes to nerve health and heart function.  Vitamin B12 is water-soluble which helps maintain circulatory health and also helps keep your gums and mouth healthy.

Most everyone has heard of Puritan’s Pride which began 40 years ago.  Their mission is to make the finest quality nutritional supplements available and at the best value to their customers.

  3. The holiday blues – kicks in if i m not around friends & family and I eat a lot of sugar. Survived a gluten-free holiday season more than once, this one will be the best ever! (As long as I stick to low-natural-sugar, GF & dairy-free) vitamin supplements, especially the B’s will help a lot! Need more millets & sorghums around this time to provide the vitamins to keep my brain happy!

  4. I sure do since my family is not nearby. I could really use these products now since I’m fighting a cold. I usually don’t take meds and let it ride out (ugh).
