My Review of MOGO

I can just hear you say….what on earth is a MOGO? Well I certainly was curious to find out when I was asked to review their product. MOGO is a sport performance series mouth guard. Now why on earth would I want to try one? Well to tell you the truth, I thought maybe they would act like a dental appliance for TMJ problems and I could wear it at night. But I have to fess up, they were too thick to be worn as a nighttime appliance. But what a great appliance for someone who plays sports and wants protection for their mouth and jaw joints!
MOGO is a really cool flavored mouth guard for athletes or anyone who plays contact sports and wants to make sure their teeth and facial joints are protected. It comes in a little foil pouch. NO powders to mix or anything. You just have to get it hot my placing it in hot water and moulding it to your teeth. Directions come with it. I tried bubble gum, fruit punch and orange. Boy do they taste good. I liked all three flavors but fruit punch was my favorite. They are so easy to mould to your mouth.
Just from trying them in my mouth they feel very cushioned around my teeth. This mouth guard creates spacing between the jawbone and skull for additional protection. It absorbs impact from blows to the jaw. And they even have a design that fits over braces. If I had guys playing contact sports I would insist they try MOGO!

These devices are VERY important for athletes. The dangers of jaw and teeth injuries are very high.

Your review was very timely for me, I too suffer from TMJ and just a couple days ago thought about using a mouth-guard for sleeping at night. Your review helped me rethink about how thick mouth-guards need to be to protect the mouth and teeth.

Yvonne..I do wear a dental night guard though. It is thin and doesn’t bother me at all. So check out what your dentist can make for you.

Seems like an odd thing ot wear a sports mouth guard for TMJ. However, having suffered with a mild case for so many years, I’d try anything, including this!

I am going to check these out for my son, he does tae kwon do and he has a really flimsy mouth guard that I really dont think would help if he got kicked hard in the mouth
