One tradition I like is decorating our home even if we don’t put up a tree there are holiday decor items everywhere.
Our family tradition is that everyone comes to my house for the holidays. We eat lots and lots of food ad yummy desserts and tell ourselves we will “recover after the new year” Unfortunately as my kids move away (as well as the rest of the family) we are getting to be a smaller and smaller crowd

We used to do fondue every Christmas. It was so much fun. We would all sit around the table and because the food was more interactive there was a lot more talking going on, versus the silent eating. It was always so much fun.

Every Christmas Eve the little Santa elves deliver a package to our doorstep with pajamas made for our children. (Specially packaged with elf wrapping paper and ribbons and glitter all over the place to show they were there) They show up right in the middle of us reading “Twas the night before Christmas”. It’s a nice tradition that we continued from when I was a little girl.
Another tradition is using an Advent calendar to count down the days until Christmas!

My favorite family tradition is our driving through the snow to the country to see my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins at my grandparents’ house for Thanksgiving and Christmas to enjoy every food imaginable.
