Oh my goodness!    Twas’ the night before Christmas, and all through the house, visions of Holiday Cash dance in my head.  No that can’t be right!  Twas’ the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.  Well come check out my house!   Snow brings those little critters indoors!

  1. My favorite Christmas tradition is our Light Drive. Driving around on Christmas Eve to see all the beautiful light displays.

  2. My boyfriend and I like to stay in and watch movies on Christmas Eve and exchange presents. We don’t do the family thing until christmas day

  3. We usually do a light lunch at my parent’s on Christmas Eve, to keep the clean up down to a minimum. More time for gifts! lol

  4. One tradition I like is decorating our home even if we don’t put up a tree there are holiday decor items everywhere.

  5. Our family tradition is that everyone comes to my house for the holidays. We eat lots and lots of food ad yummy desserts and tell ourselves we will “recover after the new year” Unfortunately as my kids move away (as well as the rest of the family) we are getting to be a smaller and smaller crowd

  6. My favorite tradition is baking cinnamon rolls using my mom’s “secret recipe” for Christmas morning! They are a labor of love, but sooo delicious!!

  7. I think my favorite tradition is filling up a lot of leftover containers after our big feast at my ma in law’s house so we can eat on it for days after.

  8. On Christmas Eve my whole family goes over to my mom’s house and we have a great dinner and we exchange our gifts and party all night.

  9. I have several other traditions, but I’m not sure I have enough to keep commenting every day! Hehe. We always make salt dough ornaments every year of my daughter’s hands and feet. This year we added another set.. 🙂 Both of my daughters will have the tradition now.

  10. I still watch some of my favorite Christmas shows from my childhood, like Emmett Otter’s Jug band Christmas.

  11. My favorite holiday tradition is…our whole family spends the night together at one of our houses! We have a HUGE slumber party, and it is a blast! We play party games, play pool, and just sit around and talk/watch television. I have come to cherish it. God bless and Happy Holidays to everyone!

  13. my favorite christmas tradition actually occurs on christmas eve. we make cookies and other snacks as a family, open a family gift that includes pajamas for everyone and a movie/game for everyone to enjoy together

  14. My favorite tradition is to go to the Christmas Eve Service at our church with my precious family, what joy that is, thanks!

  15. My favorite is baking cookies with my husband and kids and then after decorating our Christmas tree. It’s so much fun:)

  16. We used to do fondue every Christmas. It was so much fun. We would all sit around the table and because the food was more interactive there was a lot more talking going on, versus the silent eating. It was always so much fun.

  17. My favourite holiday tradition is going to church with my whole family, and then going back to my moms to open our christmas eve pj’s.

  18. Every Christmas Eve the little Santa elves deliver a package to our doorstep with pajamas made for our children. (Specially packaged with elf wrapping paper and ribbons and glitter all over the place to show they were there) They show up right in the middle of us reading “Twas the night before Christmas”. It’s a nice tradition that we continued from when I was a little girl. 🙂

  19. Our tradition is to bake greek christmas cookies with honey and walnuts, they are called ”melomakarona”. My daughters wait for them every year and they are counting days! 🙂

  20. We have a Sweetly Serious tradition right before we open gifts, we read the Story of Baby Jesus Birth in the Book of Luke, NT. Several Times during the Christmas Holidays, We all get together and watch That Hilarious movie, The Christmas Story! “I want a Red Rider BB Gun”! “You’ll Shoot Your Eye Out”!!!!! LOL Warm Ginger bread, Hot Spiced Tea and Rich Coffee There’s just nothing better!

My favorite family tradition is our driving through the snow to the country to see my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins at my grandparents’ house for Thanksgiving and Christmas to enjoy every food imaginable. It was so cold outside, but so warm in front of the fireplaces inside. I really miss it!

  23. My favorite holiday tradition is a community cookie/candy tray we share with everyone in the family. One person usually bakes several different varieties and the rest of us contribute one or two and them everyone gets a tray

  24. My favorite is getting up on Christmas morning, sipping on hot coffee, eating homemade cinnamon rolls, and watching the kiddos open presents.

  25. I could spread a lot of love and happiness with $1,500. Ministry, a working washer, food for a good family meal, money toward replacing my cousin’s totaled car & hospital bills, the list is endless. All needed. Wonderful gift.

  27. We really don’t have too many holiday traditions but we do make sure the Christmas Eve is just for the two of us and we celebrate with others on Christmas Day

  29. My favorite tradition is going to CHristmas Eve service together, singing silent night by candle light. Then home for a soup and lasagna dinner.

  30. Fave tradition would be spending Christmas eve with my boyfriend for nice dinner and gift giving then go to his mothers on Christmas for a feast and more gifts.

  31. My favorite tradition is just getting together with my family. That includes 5 children and 8 grandchildren.

  32. My favorite holiday tradition is our community cookie/candy platter. My boyfriends’ cousin bakes several different cookies and we add our homemade buckeyes and everyone in the family then gets a tray with samples of everything.

  33. every year, we go to my aunt’s house & we always play a game of spinners. i love it! we also eat the same foods every year which is so exciting to me. especially since we only have those dishes once a year.

  34. All of my aunts, uncles, and cousins, and some of our friends always got together at my grandparents’ house in the country. We had a huge meal with everything imaginable to eat, lots of laughs, and lots of love. Now it’s just a few of us cousins and my mama left to get together for a smaller meal.

  35. Every Christmas, all my relatives and friends from across the country goes to my sister -in-law’s house for a big party!
