Fall makes me think of spices like cinnamon, ginger, cloves and the smell of baking with molasses and the flavor of gingerbread!  This recipe for Gingerbread Crinkle Cookies is Gluten and Dairy Free!  These cookies would be good any time of the year but they make a nice tasting  “warm” cookie for the fall.

Gingerbread Crinkle Cookies Gluten and Dairy Free

I’ve been baking cookies this month, finding the ones I really want to make when our family gets together for Christmas this year. Christmas is going to be a bit unusual this year because instead of meeting at our home in Alaska my sons and their families will meet us in Hawaii for Christmas.  We all will have a condo together!  I am so excited but Hawaii isn’t going to feel like a normal Christmas to me with out the cold and snow.  So I am gathering all my holiday recipes to make in Hawaii along with some holiday decorations to put in the condo to make it feel more “Christmasy” to me.

What are you been baking this fall?   I hope you will give these great Gingerbread Crinkle Cookies a try!  Enjoy.

  1. I love crinkle cookies and these look amazing. I think the gingerbread would be a perfect base and my husband loves gingerbread so this would be something the whole family would love.

  2. These look good, and I love ginger cookies. I’ll substitute for the eggs so I can eat them, but that will be easy. Please post pictures of beautiful Hawaii when you get back. That’s the only way I will get there. Have a great time!
