25 Dairy Free Gluten Free Smoothies
This is the time of year I start to hunt for great tasting Dairy Free Gluten Free Smoothies Recipes! I start wanting to experiment with greens like kale and spinach and other fruits and veggies that I don’t normally have on hand to make delicious and nutritious liquid meals, aka Smoothies!! Speaking of adding kale and spinach or other greens to your smoothies, The Huffington Post states that green smoothies can:
1) Prevent heart disease
2) Boot your immune system
3) Prevent diabetes
4) Lower the risk of depression
5) Spinach increases the feeling of satiety; feeling full sooner decreases the chance of overeating
6) The body can absorb more calcium from kale than milk (I don’t eat any dairy other than grass-fed butter and an organic kefir in the post-workout period)
7) Can help balance healthy hormone levels
8) Improves triglycerides
9) Decreases the risk of cancer
10) And Makes you feel awesome and gives you energy!
It’s nice to have a collection of recipes to go to when you are hunting for that just right drink. I know it’s hard for me to find both dairy free & gluten free smoothie recipes, so I hope you find one you love below! Enjoy 🙂
