Fall is here! Fall is a magical season to me that contains so many fun things. There are pumpkin patches, falling leaves, apple cider, cornstalks, hay rides, first frosts and of course Halloween. And oh the smells of the season, how I love them. I can remember in college seeing raked leaf piles and jumping into them. I love the colors of the season as well, they invoke memories of all kinds for me.

I’m not really a fan of Fall but if I had to choose a favorite thing about it, it would be the changing color of the leaves.

My favorite smell related to Fall would probably have to be the smell of Pumpkin Spice. I know it’s cliche, but I can’t help it. It brings me right back to the wonderful Falls I had as a child…it’s a very nostalgic smell for me, full of memories!

Fall is my favorite Season! I love the changing colors on our trees here in Michigan especially on the red maple trees. I love our Family trips to the Cider Mills. There’s nothing like the fresh hot apple cider and soft warm doughnuts. We pick our pumpkins just before we leave the cider mill. I love to fill my home with the smells of spiced pumpkin and cinnamon apple. What’s not to love about Fall? I can’t think of anything.

My anniversary is today! Love the fall and my BD is in Sept too 🙂
That would be vanilla. It’s very warm and subtle. I tend to drink more hot chocolate in the colder weather like fall and winter, where I put in pure vanilla essence with a touch of vanilla bean powder. It elevates the experience of hot chocolate.
I’ve never tried vanilla bean powder Meg A! I will have to look for it.
