Stopping by to say Hi Everyone!
You may have noticed over the last few months that My Dairy-Free Gluten-Free Life has had some questions on our Facebook page as part of giveaways. I’ve been taking notes on everything that you have said, so you will notice a few changes starting this month and into the new year. You will see more articles on mental health, wellness, general health and eating Gluten-Free and/or Dairy-Free: YOU have asked for it. We will also be posting MORE recipes! So watch for these new things.
If you have any special requests for articles, recipes or anything else, please list them in the post comments. You will be heard! I read every comment even if I don’t return a comment on each one.
With Christmas just weeks away, this time of year is so busy and exciting for most everyone. But for many people, this is a very difficult time of year. Christmas and Holidays can be very stressful. And for reasons unknown it can bring on the blues for many. This has been a difficult year for me. Our family lost a friend to suicide this fall, an Aunt in death and has been battling with Manic Bipolar illness. We’ve had lots of stress and anxiety this year. I’ve had many health challenges that have kept me from having the time to really chat with you here as I would have liked. When I recommend that my readers keep their bodies healthy and strong, I personally know it will benefit you as you age. You may not think of it now, but in time, you will be thankful you took that extra massage, checked into eating organic or non GMO, dabbled in growing a few of your own vegetables or whatever it is that you are doing to live a healthier lifestyle. Little things add up.
We all continue to learn and grow but boy, This December I am eagerly awaiting to boot this year out and say hello to a new year and new memories! Tell me how your year has been going, I’d love to know.

Wow, I’m so sorry to for your losses and difficulties. I’ve been having a hard time myself. I’m very interested and want to learn more about how to treat my body right. Where did you find that adorable photo?!
Colleen says
Hi Jennifer Hiles! I’m hoping 2015 is totally different! I was lucky about the photo…we have sea otters here so when I found this one I had to share it, river otters are amazing too (in this photo)! I just love otters.

I love that picture, I’ve never seen a little baby squirrel. Anyway, you said it honey, this year has sucked! I’ve been very ill all year with lyme disease and I realized that the doctor I’ve been seeing is not competent to treat this complicated disease. I’m on a waiting list to see another but I’m only 3 months into a year wait. I would love it if you would consider adding some sugar-free dessert recipes and not the splenda or aspartame substitutes but stevia and xylitol subs. I have to be gluten and dairy free but I also have to be sugar free, I’ve been following a candida diet as everyone knows who has lyme , it’s never just lyme. Otherwise I enjoy your blog very much!

Hi trishden, This pic is a river otter 🙂 I”m sorry you are suffering from lyme disease and hope you find some treatment sooner than a year’s wait!! I will work on a few sugar free recipes 🙂 I am not a splenda or aspartame advocate so my recipes don’t have them…or shouldn’t!! I appreciate your comments and sharing!

Sherry Keef, I am thankful that we’ve had much more sunshine and no snow here in my part of Alaska…which is really weird.
