This Matcha Macadamia Brownies recipe has a super secret hidden ingredient, Matcha Green Tea, giving the brownies a boost of flavor that is simply to die for!
I belong to a fun group that was started by Peanut Butter & Co called the Yum Squad! They occasionally send out a Mystery Ingredient Challenge for us to make a recipe. This month we are celebrating the National Peanut Month. As a result, PB & Co sent a mystery ingredient for March, Matcha Green Tea Powder! Considering that PB&Co deals mostly with peanut butter, I was surprised to find a TEA in the challenge. However, I had fun doing this recipe challenge and I hope you enjoy my recipe for Matcha Macadamia Brownies!

It took me awhile to figure out what I would like to make using Matcha Green Tea but after searching and thinking, I decided to make a recipe based on the Ginger Macadamia Brownie Recipe in the Gluten-Free Almond Flour cookbook. I changed up the recipe and you will find my recipe for Matcha Macadamia Bars below, enjoy!
I used PB & Co White Chocolate Wonderful, a wonderful way to get that chocolate in. Above all, I should have called these brownies Triple Chocolate Bars! I received product to help facilitate this recipe.

I love Matcha Tea, I do prefer the black to the green though. I like to take some Matcha Tea, add soy milk and ice. Refreshing for that hot summer day…thank you for sharing.
