Every MMA Workout Is A Little Different

Intensity is one thing that every MMA workout has in common. You don’t need a gym membership and you don’t need a lot of expensive machines to get through the workout. They can be done in the comfort of your own home and you can get results in 90 days or even less. When it came time for me to search for a workout program, I ended up finding more workouts than I thought were imaginable.
Each of the workouts varied in one way or another. I wanted an MMA workout because I had heard the best things about them. I would be able to target all muscles in my body and get the cardio and strength workout. This is why I eliminated a few programs from my search early on, such as Insanity, TurboFire and Asylum, which were more about cardio or MAX interval training.
What I ultimately found was RushFit, Tapout XT and P90XT. Each of these was an MMA workout that provided me with different workouts as well as a schedule in which to do each workout. By varying the workout from day to day, I would be able to target more areas and get the desired results in a shorter amount of time.
The weight loss strategy with all three was similar. I had to burn more calories than I consumed. As a result, there was a nutrition guide with all three. I found that RushFit and P90XT had different meal plans that could be followed, which actually made it more confusing for me. Tapout was more about what I should eat and gave me recipes so that I could save and do some of my own cooking.
When I compared the costs, RushFit was the most enticing to me because it was the most affordable. The reason I ultimately decided against it is because I needed to use dumbbells for the workouts and those weren’t provided to me. Those would have cost me more money, which in turn would have made that program the most expensive of the three.
After making all the comparisons, I chose Tapout XT because it had the most supplies within the start-up package. I was able to complete my MMA workout effectively on my own because of multiple DVDs, a workout calendar and also a slim-down plan for the first 10 days.
Choosing an MMA workout was more intense than I thought it would be but I know I made the right decision with Tapout because I can look in the mirror and be proud of what I see.
