A quick and easy to make blueraz jam!
There is nothing better than homemade BlueRaz Jam! When the picking season is on, store up some fresh Rasperries and Blueberries to make this delicious jam.
Nothing tastes better than homemade bread with fresh butter and homemade jam! I know you are going to love this recipe. Use this fruit sauce as a topping over ice cream, shortbread or make it into a pie.
I have such fond memories of picking berries in Oregon. My sister has blueberry bushes in her back yard. But when we need alot of berries to bring home we head to a U-pick Blueberry orchard.
On the other hand, I have raspberries growing in my own back yard, and here in Alaska they grow like weeds. I have a whole freezer for just my raspberries!! There are so many yummy things to make with fresh and frozen fruit.
Here a just a few health benefits of Raspberries & Blueberries from WebMD:
Raspberries provide potassium, essential to heart function, and proven to lower blood pressure. The omega-3 fatty acids in raspberries can help prevent stroke and heart disease. They also contain a mineral called manganese, which is necessary for healthy bones and skin and helps regulate blood sugar.
Blueberries contain vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that provide notable health benefits. For example, blueberries are rich in vitamin K, which plays an important role in promoting heart health. The vitamin is also important to bone health and blood clotting.
Blueberries are one of the best natural sources of antioxidants. While antioxidants aren’t necessary for your body to function, they help protect your body from damage by free radicals. Your cells produce free radicals as waste products, but these particles can go on to hurt other cells. Eating blueberries regularly for just two weeks can help reduce damage to your cells by as much as 20%.

Ooh how I love to have jam for my bread. I long to have a recipe for a guava and this BlueRaz Jam of yours give me an idea that my step-mom told me. Now I remember the 2:1 ratio wherein the guava has to be the two and the sugar will be the one. Thanks for sharing!

My husband and his daughters made fridge jam every summer like this. However, they always made extra and stored some in the freezer for winter mornings when they would dream of the warm summer days when they made it. Can you freeze this version, too?
