They are a great snack to have on hand for summer trips, picnics, potlucks, when your kids get home from school or anytime at all really!

Candied Nuts and Seeds
Ingredients
- 4 ounces almonds
- 4 ounces cashews
- 2 ounces pumpkin seeds
- 2 ounces pine nuts
- 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons maple sugar
- Up to 1 tablespoon warm water
Instructions
- Combine the sugars and water together in a small bowl.
- You’ll want a smooth but still thick consistency.
- Add the nuts and seeds and stir to fully coat everything.
- Spread the mixture out onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Bake 400 degrees for about 12 to 15 minutes or just until the nuts and seeds are covered in a tiny layer of bubbling sugar.
- Allow to fully cool before enjoying. Store well for a couple weeks in an air tight container.
