I love to try alternative methods for pain management when possible.  I had the opportunity to review an Electronic TENS Unit Pulse Massager by TruMedic.

I get muscle spasms often in my back when I do garden work and-or lifting.  I have degenerative joint disease in my spine and it seems to affect my muscles.  A few times I have had to go to the hospital for treatment with a TENS unit to help relieve pain and loosen up my muscle spasms.

Recently my shoulders, back and lower back were really talking to me after working in my greenhouse.   I was in our local pharmacy – hardware store and noticed they had a type of TENS unit that was all one big stick on patch.  I purchased it but it didn’t help nearly as well as the TENS unit the hospital used.

When TruMedic reached out to ask if I would like to review one of their products, I jumped at the chance when I was told I could review a TENS unit with multiple electrodes.   The PL-009 TENS Unit Electronic Pulse Massager was just what my back needed!  The type of electrode stimulation or pulses were very similar to what the hospitals TENS unit did!   Since this little unit uses batteries, I could still be mobile and sit and watch a movie or move from room to room while using it.  And it had so many choices of speed, intensity and rhythms to choose from that I am in LOVE with this unit.    First time I used it, it gave me relief from my pain.  I tried different pre-programed settings but love the back setting.  I have used it on my shoulders both sides,  then on my mid back both sides and then again on my lower back & hips both sides.   When I was done with all three cycles, I felt great!
