Essential Oils For Arthritis
Fall is the time of the year I start feeling my arthritic pain. Cooler it gets the achier I get. If you have osteoarthritis like I do, you know how frustrating it can be when the pain keeps you from completing normal activities. I can hardly wait to get to Florida next month! The heat just melts into my body and my joints just loosen up and I just feel healthier!
But if you can’t get to Florida or some other place warm for the winter or colder season, try some natural remedies at home like Essential Oils for Arthritis.
Rosemary
Rosemary is a soothing oil with a light floral scent that can also be used for arthritis. This is one of the top essential oils to be used for promoting better circulation. It also has anti-inflammatory benefits, so the inflammation and dwelling in your joints can be remedied with some Rosemary Essential Oil. It also has anti-pain properties, which is another great reason to use it for arthritis. For arthritis, use the rosemary oil with a carrier oil like jojoba oil, then rub it directly onto your joints. Plus just the scent of Rosemary Essential Oil can relax you all over! I’ve already written about how Frankincense can help with joint pain and inflammatory issues.
Peppermint
Peppermint is an essential oil that can work for so many problems. Peppermint oil may reduce body pain and inflammation. Peppermint oil, like rosemary oil, has anti-inflammatory properties. You might not be able to cure your arthritis, but you can bet this oil may work wonders on your pain. You also want to use it with a carrier oil before applying to the painful joints you have. Coconut oil is a great carrier oil to use with peppermint oil.
