I recently heard about this site called cureLauncher and I thought, hmmm what an interesting name.  After exploring around the site, I thought I’d share it with you.  It is really very cool.  Have you ever wanted to help contribute to something that is really going to make a difference?   This site does that.  It brings together people who want to really help by donating to a cause, but haven’t really known where their money would make a difference.   You CAN make a difference here. Medical researchers come here and post their medical research projects that need additional funding.   There is currently a project that is in trials to treat breast cancer that has spread to the brain and other areas of the body, and they are looking for donations to help fund their project.   Their trials have shown promise.  But there is much more!

Not only does this site have projects that you can help to fund, but it also is a place that lists current clinical trials and new medical treatments.  There are thousands listed that are available NOW.    Do you know someone with Diabetes or Cancer that current treatment isn’t helping?  You may want to refer them to this site to look for clinical trials that are underway.  These clinical trials are listed in various cities & states throughout the country.

My son is doing post-graduate research work and he is constantly saying that the funding is drying up and is so difficult to get.   So I know there is a need for those who can support medical research through donations.  This site states that 91% of funds donated go directly to the research project itself.   So you know you are helping those now and in the future!

I think that this is a very worthwhile project and hope that you find it of interest.
