I love a baked Apple Crisp but in the summer the thought of turning on the oven stops me. With this Microwaveable recipe I can create a delicious Apple Crisp in under 20 minutes. It is gluten free and vegan so it makes an excellent recipe to serve to guests. Plus the new apples are coming out now at the farmers markets.

- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar light or dark
- 3/4 cup quick cooking oats
- 1/2 cup Gluten Free All Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp allspice

- Sprinkle craisins/raisins on top of apple pieces.
- In small bowl, melt the almond butter.
- In medium bowl, combine brown sugar, oats, flour, cinnamon and allspice.
- Combine dry ingredients well.
- Slowly pour in melted almond butter and combine until all dry ingredients are moist.

This is my hubby’s favorite fall dessert. Going to make this version instead of the traditional one and see which one he likes best since I am trying to cut out gluten in our diet.
