Welcome to National Gluten Free Awareness Month of May

 During the month of May, My Vegan Gluten Free Life will be posting  Gluten Free Events!  May is National Celiac Awareness Month!   Although I do not have Celiac, I have gluten sensitivity which needs to be treated the same way.   In the Celiac Phoenix Expo April of 2013,  Guest speaker, Dr Peter Green, Director of  Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University  and author of  CELIAC DISEASE:A Hidden Epidemic stated that gluten sensitivity is on the rise and the reasons are unknown but is clinically documented.   Those affected do not have the genetic blood marker for Celiac but do have clinical markings for gluten sensitivity.  

I recently returned from the 2013 April Phoenix Celiac Expo and have many new products to share with you this month.  I have also joined a blogging team who is highlighting National Celiac Awareness Month and bringing you additional Gluten Free Giveaway in May.
