Have you heard that Rudi’s Gluten Free Bakery has totally rethought, reworked, remade all their gluten free sandwich bread? They call this new bread Soft & Yummy! I have been wanting to do a review of their new product for some time, but I have been on vacation for a month in the Florida Key’s and can you believe it, I couldn’t find this new bread of Rudi’s anywhere! I had to get back in Alaska to find Rudi’s NEW Gluten Free Soft & Yummy bread!
Here goes my Rudi’s Gluten Free Bakery Soft & Yummy Review:
If you have read my blog, you know that my grandson was diagnosed with severe allergies over this last Christmas holiday and we have been looking for Gluten Free Bakery products and more. He is allergic to dairy and intolerant to gluten, soy and nuts! Taking away his PB&J sandwiches was a horrid thing to do. We had a hard time finding bread he liked that he could eat. I am also gluten intolerant and have been trying to find a great Gluten Free Bakery bread that I don’t have to bake myself! We have found the answer!! This new Soft and Yummy Gluten Free Bakery bread by Rudi’s is also soy and dairy free. But the best thing is it tastes and “feels” like more normal bread! Rudi’s bread has always been my favorite but they have made it even better! And the best recommendation comes from my grandson who doesn’t like to try new things…and he ate this bread and wanted more! Now he can really enjoy his PB & J sandwiches.
How would I describe the new Soft and Yummy bread from Rudi’s Gluten Free Bakery? It is NOT spongy like many are and it isn’t stiff or chalky and it doesn’t fall apart! My husband who does NOT have issues with allergies tried it and said ” It has very good texture, in fact if you were to give it to someone and they wouldn’t know that it was a Gluten Free Bakery bread they would think it was normal”. Now that’s a pretty good recommendation wouldn’t you say?

I haven’t been able to find their new bread, but I can’t wait to try it. I loved it before they made it softer. I wish that they still carried it at our local Costco. We need to find out how to get it into more local stores. 🙂
