I have always wanted to try something that can brew a cup of tea as well as coffee.  I am a huge tea drinker and I have to thank Keurig for letting me review their New Keurig 2.0.   All comments are my own honest opinion and my own thoughts.  I have never used a Keurig, or this type of brewing machine, except for a couple of times at a Hotel when all that was available was coffee.  I am not a coffee drinker, but my husband is.

The New Keurig 2.0 brews either a cup or a carafe ( 4 cups )!   I was so excited to open the box and begin to use this machine.  My husband helped me open it and set it up.  It was so easy to set up, the only snafu we experienced was trying to open the spring-loaded water filter container.  Once my husband figured it out, it was simple.   The New Keurig 2.0 comes with a Carafe and all the goodies shown below.   6 K-Cup Coffee Packs for brewing individual cups, 5 coffee flavors and 1 tea.  4 K-Carafe Packs which make 4 cups of coffee per Pack.  This package also contained the Water Filter Starter Kit, not shown.

Coffee Review:

My husbands first question was does it have the ability to brew strong coffee?  He loves a dark robust coffee.   Yes, my dear husband it does.   The brewing directions are also very easy that even my technically challenged husband could quickly brew a cup and then a carafe.   He loves the fact that he can brew a strong cup of coffee.   He said he can’t believe how strong it does brew in comparison to a traditional coffee machine and will probably not brew it strong anymore.  He said the flavor just is so much more pronounced and flavorful using a Keurig than using a regular coffee maker.  He loves the Keurig 2.0  and says the old coffee maker is going away.

Tea Review:

There was only 1 sample tea enclosed and I was very happy it was one of my favorites, English Breakfast, so that I could have something to really compare a brewed tea to.   This was so fast and so easy!  I was amazed at the quality of the flavor for not steeping a cup of tea.   This was the most flavorful tea I have had and I loved it instantly!  I am not going to be steeping tea when I am in a hurry to have a cup of tea to drink.   The Keurig 2.0 is going to make tea time very easy and flavorful!   I went online and ordered an assortment of tea right away.  The only downside is that I have to wait until my teas come to enjoy this great New Keurig 2.0,  while I watch my husband make his coffees daily and sometimes 2 or 3 times daily! I am in love with this machine.

Never having used a Keurig before, this new innovation of matching colors and numbers for brewing will be very helpful for me and my husband!  Takes the guesswork out of brewing.   I can’t see any reason to continue using a regular coffee maker!  Head out to the nearest Keurig retailer and grab yourself a wonderful Keurig 2.0 brewing machine or order ONLINE HERE and ENJOY!
