No Bake Granola Bars Recipe
No Bake Granola Bars
Ingredients
- 1 cup honey or corn syrup or molasses or maple syrup
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 7 cups Packaged Granola I used Pure Blend Granola
- If you don't have packaged granola create a mixture with 5 cups Granola Base* and 2 cups Nut Base** Ideas * Below
- 1 cup Cherry Craisins can also use raisins,dried blueberries, etc.
- *Granola Base Options
- Gluten Free Granola
- Gluten Free Oats
- Gluten Free Cereal
- **Nut Base
- Almonds
- Pecans
- Walnuts
- Sunflower Seeds
- Flax Seeds
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, heat honey until it is a smooth liquid.
- Bring to a simmer and let simmer until foam bubbles form on top.
- Stir in Peanut Butter until mixture is smooth.
- Mix in Granola and cover completely
- Add dried fruit and mix in.
- Pour mixture into 9 x 13 pan and spread evenly.
- Press down into pan and make sure it sticks together.
- Let sit out and cool and bars will harden.
- They will be chewy as they are not processed with preservatives.

Now if there was only a way to make this with raw honey! Wonder if I could use the dough hook in my mixer to combine everything. Will have to try and let you know.
