What is your favorite Thanksgiving, Christmas or Hanukkah side dish?

I love the whole cranberry sauce; it’s not Thanksgiving without it! It’s one of my favorite side dishes, along with stuffing.

I’ve never been a fan of the purple blob in the can, lol. But I do like cranberry juice, so I bet fresh cranberry sauce might be good.

My favorite side dish is bread stuffing. I have never made cranberry (I love the stuff in a can! LOL) but I might try it this year since we are having people over.
Mmm!! This is my favorite side dish at the holidays!! I could seriously live off of it and eat it with every meal!! Ive never thought to make it myself though which is silly!

I love cranberry sauce.
oo! this looks good! homemade everything is always best
I love this real cranberry sauce. Unfortunately, my hubby likes the gelatinous stuff in a can. Every couple of years I make the real stuff, and use the leftover sauce in muffins or a Cranberry loaf.
This is a simple and easy way to change up the cranberry sauce without making anyone feel that they aren’t getting their traditional style favorite – but it makes enough of a difference to seem new and exciting!
i am absolutely making this for my table this year! yummmmmmm
This looks like an awesome recipe for the thanksgiving table.
I make this recipe every year! I love fresh tasting whole cranberries sauce. So easy to make and I make two batches to make sure to have enough!
Any way to make this with less sugar?
Do you need to cook this the day of Thanksgiving or can you cook it the day before and keep it in the fridge?
I love to eat cranberry sauce mixed into my mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving 🙂
