Watermelon Freeze Recipe
With holiday parties abounding, it is nice to have a Recipe for some beverage “freeze” drinks that can be for adults and/or children. This recipe could easily be adapted for adults by adding some vodka ( or whatever your imagination can think of that blends with watermelon ) for a little holiday bubbly. With OR without alcoholic additions, this is a tasty drink that Gwen shares with us and is easy to make. I want to add that Gwen’s recipe did NOT call for alcohol to be added.
Here’s what you will need for the Freeze
8 cups chopped watermelon – Frozen
1 Large Lemon
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp Salt
Putting it Together:
Combine watermelon, sugar and salt in blender.
Squeeze the juice from one large lemon into blender.(about 1/3 of a cup)
Blend until mixture is pureed.
Pour in glasses and serve with lemon wedge.
